Modern day Hi-Techno Television- HDTV

The expanded form of HDTV is High Definition TVs. The Digital HDTV Grand Alliance rooted this technic around 1990s in the US first of all. It's also confirmed by 1080 active lines, 16 x 9 aspect ratio in ITU-R BT.709.

High defintion TV refers to presentation of fullscreen picture with more detail and clarity than seen in regular analog Televisions, or some other digital television formats. But the truth is that it is the best quality Digital Television (DTV) showcasing format seen.

HDTV is available in direct-view, plasma, rear screen, and front screen projection. High defintion television can be viewed only through HDTV tuner and 1080i is the most detailed HDTV format.
