I GOT A PUPPY, I GOT A PUPPY, I GOT A PUPPY!!!! Yes, I'm just a little excited. I've been working on my husband to let me get a puppy for the last 2 months, and he *finally* gave in. I had to bribe him with more nookie though. Isn't that how it always is. Anyway, he said the only reason we got it though was for Tyler. When we had my niece bring her puppy over to see how Tyler did with it, he started to cave. Tyler reacted very well to her. We went over to my mom's earlier tonight and took the the puppy (Macy) with us. We had her and Tyler on the floor and he was reaching for her and rolling to get to her constantly. He really likes her. I think this is one of the best things that we could have done for him to help with his Angelman Syndrome. I think she'll get him to start doing more. That was one of my selling points to my husband--if we had a puppy, Tyler may pay more attention to it, and start reaching and rolling over to get it or rolling to get away from it. Either way, it's progress. I'm surprised at how well Tyler has taken to her already. He just sits there and lets her lick his hand, and if his finger happens to go into her mouth he jerks it back. She's such a good little dog too. She likes to cuddle, but doesn't have to constantly be right on top of you at all times. She's just happy with being next to you. I think she senses that Craig didn't want her at first. She's always going up to him and cuddling. Now he calls her "his girl". ;) It was so funny tonight. Mom cut Craig's hair and after she was done had me vacuum up the hair. The second I turned that vacuum on she ran across the room to Craig and wanted up on his lap for him to protect her. Cute thing was, she's too short yet to jump up onto the couch on her own so she was pawing at his legs till he picked her up. Poor little thing--I didn't mean to scare her.
Anyway, I better get off of here. Ellen the occupational therapist from AEA is coming to work with Tyler in the morning. I'll have to remember to tell her how well he's done so far.... gigglebug 1:45 AM - [Link]

Currently updating my dolls site, trying to think of new ideas for linker buttons for the site. I feel like I got alot done last night. I got 11 new dolls done. Not too bad if I do say so myself. Even if they are all in the same clothes & hair, just recolored, they're still all different dolls. And if anyone tells me different I'm just going to ignore them, so *hmph*!(throws nose up in air):P Bubba's sittin' in front of the tv sleeping. He's looks so cute covered up in the blankie that used to be mine when I was little. Gawd, I wish I could sleep that good.
