Wow.....71 days until my surgery ~ scary! It is almost exactly 2 months away. I joined an orthognathic surgery support group the other day (which thank god exists!!) I have learned so much already. Like for example, it may be 7 weeks after my surgery before I can eat! I've heard from 4-7, so hopefully mine is closer to 4 weeks. I read about a lot of things that scared me, but most of it made me feel more confident and prepared!
Well, to update a little bit ~ the file upload tool still isn't working so I can't paste any pics except ones from a website. I think I might try emailing the site manager. Not much to report that I can think of ~ hopefully I will get some temporary jobs in before my surgery so I'll have extra money. I read that some ppl went back to work after 2 weeks but most said at least 4 weeks. And these ppl had jobs already so their co-workers knew what was going on etc. I cannot imagine trying to find a job or taking a temp job after my surgery unless I looked somewhat normal and could be understood!
