All Time Favourite PhotoI was prompted today to go and dig out my 1988 USA photo albums......
Which is me posing on the Golden Gate Bridge back in October 1988, with the SF Bay Area in the background. And the picture below is my all time favourite photo - it's me against the prison yard wall of Alcatraz, (taken from the top of the steps), - with the Golen Gate Bridge in the background.....
That photo was excellent because:
1. The Alcatraz prison tour is very, very busy - and I had to wait until the last few people had left the yard, and then thrust my camera into the hands of a complete stranger and ask them to take the photo....
2. I asked the person to try to get the bridge in the background...
3. As it was a Kodak, (pre digital camera days!), - I had to wait a few months before I returned to England before got the film developed to see the results.
